Getting closer

Today Becky and I will gather together at the Guggenheim Museum with Poul, Darko Tresnjak (our director for the Santa Fe Opera Production), Rita Ryack (our costumer designer) and a group of singers, who will perform excerpts from the opera.

The week has been a full one for our recording. We don’t quite yet have a finished master, but the initial mix went well, and it’s getting there! I think we’re still on schedule for having the recording out by the planned June 6 date.

We’re headed into Manhattan now to meet up with Poul and company!
